My life is really good.  I have a lot of opportunities and a lot of privileges that I am extremely thankful for, but more than all of that I am thankful for the fact that the people I have around me are the type of people who make me want everything out of life.  They’re the kind of people who appreciate warm breezes and Dixie bands at theme parks and dance in public without shame and aren’t afraid of striving and aren’t too cool for laughing and aren’t too brave to be a little uncertain.

My friends are courageous intellectuals and passionate clowns and wholly, utterly, delightfully beautiful.  And we’ve been given the garden of the gods to play in.
